Industrial safety fencing
Industrial safety fencing is a type of fencing used in industrial settings to protect workers and equipment from potential hazards. This fencing is typically made of sturdy materials such as steel or aluminum, and is designed to withstand the rigors of industrial environments. It is often used to enclose machinery or hazardous areas, or to create barriers around areas where workers may be at risk of injury. Industrial safety fencing can help prevent accidents and injuries, and can play an important role in ensuring the overall safety of industrial workplaces.
Benefits of using industrial safety fencing
Some of the benefits of industrial safety fencing include:
- Improved safety: Industrial safety fencing can help prevent accidents and injuries by creating physical barriers around hazardous areas or equipment.
- Enhanced productivity: By protecting workers from potential hazards, industrial safety fencing can help to reduce downtime and improve overall productivity.
- Compliance with regulations: Many industrial workplaces are required by law to have safety fencing in place to protect workers. Industrial safety fencing can help businesses comply with these regulations and avoid potential fines or penalties.
- Improved worker morale: When workers feel safe and protected on the job, they are more likely to be satisfied and engaged in their work. This can help to improve morale and reduce turnover.
- Enhanced security: Industrial safety fencing can also help to protect valuable equipment and materials from theft or damage.
Overall, industrial safety fencing is an important investment for any industrial workplace, as it can help to ensure the safety and wellbeing of workers, improve productivity, and comply with regulations.
What to consider when purchasing safety fencing?
When purchasing safety fencing, there are several factors to consider. First, you should consider the type of fencing that is best suited for your needs. This will depend on the location and intended use of the fencing. For example, if you are looking to secure a pool, you may want to consider a fencing material that is specifically designed for that purpose. Here are 5 key factors to consider when purchasing safety fencing:
- The type of fencing: There are many different types of safety fencing available, including chain link, steel mesh, and wire mesh. Each type has its own unique properties and benefits, so it’s important to choose the right type for your specific needs.
- The size and height of the fencing: Safety fencing is typically available in a range of sizes and heights, so it’s important to choose the right size and height for your needs. For example, if you are using the fencing to enclose a hazardous area, you may need a taller fence to provide sufficient protection.
- The material: Safety fencing is typically made from a durable and long-lasting material, such as steel or aluminum. It’s important to choose a material that is strong enough to withstand the intended use, as well as any environmental conditions it may be exposed to.
- The installation: Some safety fencing is designed to be easy to install, while others may require professional installation. It’s important to choose a fencing option that can be easily and safely installed in your desired location.
- The cost: Safety fencing can vary in cost depending on the type, size, and material. It’s important to consider your budget and choose a fencing option that fits within your budget while still providing the necessary level of protection.

What is Securyfence Safety fencing
Secure and flexible machine or area safety fencing
Securyfence is Qimarox’s secure and extremely flexible safety fencing system. Securyfence is unique in the simplicity and speed with which you can assemble it. Special tools or costly engineering are no longer needed to create a machine guard, area guard or fall-through protection within only a few hours that meets all the statutory requirements.
Securyfence is completely different from a traditional shielding system, which consists of mesh panels welded onto steel tubes. One disadvantage of traditional safety fencing/shielding systems is that all panels must be welded exactly to size beforehand. However, with Securyfence all you need are a few simple hand tools to assemble and/or adjust the fencing to size.
Securyfence consits of a few components:
- The wired mesh panels
- Doors (Hinged or Sliding doors)
Benefits of the Securyfence safety fencing:
- Quick to assemble
- Simple to customize, even onsite!
- Extra sturdy thanks to profiling
- Modular system
- Good transparency
- Available in galvanized, all RAL colors and stainless steel
- Dimensions meet all CE and NEN standards
Safety fencing – Wired mesh Panels
Securyfence consists of profiled mesh panels that are screwed to posts via tubes. If the standard sizes don’t fit you can easily cut and saw the mesh panels and tubes to make it fit on the spot. The construction and installing of a safety fence was never this easy. The concept of Securyfence allows users to be flexible when placing the safety fencing. The design is easily customizable to make sure the fence will fit into any lay-out.
The wired mesh panels offer an excellent view of the machine because it is mostly open. If anything happens you will be able to see it and you can take immediate action if necessary. Thanks to the profiling, the mesh panels are extra sturdy and are able to take a knock or two.
Securyfence is a modular system and there several of sizes to choose from. All components are available from stock. You can choose six widths, ranging from 225 to 1495 millimetres and 2 heights: 1043 or 2123 millimetres.
